In the office, Mizuki Tokimori commands unconditional respect. Efficient, sharp, and impeccably presented, she represents the gold standard of professional workplace composure. Her colleague Toru Sugawa regards her with genuine admiration from afar, entirely unaware of the stark reality lurking behind her pristine exterior. When unexpected housing difficulties leave Sugawa without a residence, Tokimori offers a practical solution: move into her spare room as a live-in housemate and domestic assistant to split expenses and handle everyday chores.

The moment the front door locks behind them, Tokimori's flawless corporate persona evaporates completely. At home, she is clumsy, disorganized, and shockingly devoid of self-preservation instincts, wandering around in loose lounge wear, misplacing clothing, and relaxing without a shred of personal guard. Sugawa suddenly finds his practical domestic role transformed into an endurance test of self-discipline. As he prepares meals, sorts laundry, and maintains household order, he must navigate constant close-quarters intimacy and accidental visual temptations while keeping his personal boundaries intact.

Rather than relying on tedious misunderstandings, the series builds steady emotional progression upon everyday domestic reliance. Shared dinners, quiet conversations, and mutual vulnerability gradually break down the boundaries between casual roommates, evolving their working partnership into an affectionate romantic bond.

What to Expect

The storytelling maintains a light, episodic rhythm focused on domestic slice-of-life vignettes, playful situational ecchi, and workplace contrast. Chapters range from 8 to 14 pages, emphasizing immediate comedic setups, expressive character reactions, and gradual romantic payoff. Rather than artificial rivalry or melodramatic love triangles, the narrative prioritizes genuine communication between two working adults whose feelings mature through mutual assistance, shared vulnerability, and quiet domestic comfort.
