Jiwoo Seo has spent his life hiding an innate supernatural talent: supersonic movement and rapid reflexes. Convinced his superhuman speed makes him an abnormal outcast, Jiwoo lives quietly, caring for stray cats throughout his neighborhood. His isolation shatters when he discovers an injured, overweight ginger cat lying in an alley. Unbeknownst to Jiwoo, this feline body houses Kayden Break, an apex awakener and solitary combat genius on the run after surviving an ambush by multiple world rankers.

Unable to return to his human form without risking assassination, Kayden takes refuge in Jiwoo's home. Kayden quickly identifies Jiwoo's raw speed potential and agrees to teach him the fundamentals of internal energy circulation and force control. As Jiwoo learns to integrate Kayden's destructive electrical force into his physical strikes, he inadvertently triggers the attention of influential local factions, starting with the Shinwha Association, and rogue scientific groups weaponizing unregistered awakeners.

Thrust into the clandestine hierarchy of the global awakener society, Jiwoo faces academy trials, regional rivalries, and international federations. Through mentorship, mutual protection, and bonds forged with fellow young awakeners like Wooin and Jisuk Yoo, Jiwoo rises from an untrained isolate into a formidable presence capable of altering the balance of power across the awakener community.

What to Expect

The narrative prioritizes disciplined kinetic action, structured power escalation, and character chemistry. Combat revolves around combining movement speed with specialized force control disciplines, contrasting raw destructive lightning against wind manipulation, telekinesis, and ice techniques. Pacing alternates between comedic domestic interactions involving Kayden's feline limitations and high-stakes tournament and survival skirmishes across South Korean and world academy arcs.
