Ryoma Takebayashi lived an exhausting existence in Japan, crushed by corporate exploitation and family adversity until an unfortunate nighttime accident ended his life at thirty-nine. Impressed by his perseverance, three celestial deities—Gain, Lulutia, and Kufo—grant him reincarnation as an eight-year-old child in the fantasy world of Seilfall. Bestowed with elemental magic, high physical resilience, and divine favor, Ryoma chooses solitary retreat deep inside the Gana Forest.

Over three years of isolation, Ryoma studies the local fauna and dedicates his time to taming basic slimes. Through empirical experimentation, dietary control, and magical contracts, he discovers that slimes evolve rapidly according to their sustenance. Cleaner slimes sanitize fabrics and liquids, scavenger slimes digest biological waste and generate fertilizer, acid slimes dissolve minerals, and sticky slimes spin durable fibers. Ryoma creates a self-sufficient ecological haven, turning the continent's weakest monsters into versatile partners.

His quiet routine shifts when he treats an injured scouting unit belonging to Duke Reinhart Jamil. Astounded by Ryoma's magical competence and calm demeanor, the Jamil ducal household introduces the boy to the outside world. Venturing into the merchant town of Gimul, Ryoma joins the Tamers Guild and the Adventurers Guild, using his slime collective to launch the Bamboo Forest public laundry service. As his business and reputation expand, Ryoma balances civic engineering, dungeon investigations, and genuine friendships, steadily building the secure existence he was denied in his previous lifetime.
