Behind the glittering facade of modern Seoul, an ancient predatory hierarchy operates in total secrecy. Werewolves exist unnoticed among the civilian populace, disciplined by pack bloodlines and underworld agreements. Han Ji-u, the half-werewolf daughter of a formidable pack patriarch, runs a private detective agency to navigate both societies. Her calculated life fractures after a vehicular incident brings her face-to-face with Cheon Yuseung, a top-tier celebrity idolized across the country as the clean-cut "Nation's Son."

Upon physical contact, Ji-u registers an impossible phenomenon: Yuseung's touch acts as a catalytic trigger, dramatically amplifying lycanthropic physical prowess and sensory acuity. Determining to secure him as an indispensable asset, Ji-u initiates an elaborate chase. Yet Yuseung conceals a ruthless double life of his own. Beneath his celebrity persona lies an undercover hunter dedicated to dismantling the werewolf hierarchy from within. Recognizing Ji-u's high-ranking lineage, Yuseung feigns submission to extract internal intelligence on pack commanders. As mutual manipulation fuels intense romantic friction, the boundary between hunter and prey disintegrates.

What to Expect

Beastly Things delivers a tense urban fantasy mystery combined with enemies-to-lovers psychological warfare. The pacing balances high-stakes corporate and criminal investigations with calculated personal confrontations. Combat sequences focus on predatory speed, close-quarters grappling, and the strategic risks of touch-amplification mechanics. Rather than standard supernatural tropes, the narrative emphasizes deceptive dialogue, competing loyalties, pack factionalism, and slowly escalating romantic tension where neither protagonist holds complete control.
