Logan McLane was once the disgraced elder scion of House McLane. Consumed by jealousy after losing a formal duel to his younger brother Ronian—a prodigy who had held a blade for a fraction of the time—Logan committed the unpardonable sin of poisoning Ronian, leading to his dishonorable expulsion by their father Patrick. Cast into exile, Logan survived for decades as a gritty mercenary, hardened across battlefields until the day the expansionist Ares Empire annihilated the Grandia Kingdom and executed his entire family. Too late to ask for forgiveness, Logan joined the resistance, battling imperial legionaries until his dying breath.

Awakening in his youthful body before his fateful mistake, Logan receives a second chance. Rather than succumbing to petty envy, he immediately halts the downward spiral of his youth, earning back the trust of Patrick and Ronian. Leveraging decades of mercenary combat instincts, future knowledge of aristocratic betrayals, and advanced Force breathing techniques, Logan begins fortifying the McClane territory against neighboring rival houses like Teslon and Sylvan. To survive the impending imperial war, he recruits master dwarven craftsmen, constructs devastating siege ballistas, and reforms the estate's economy from a decaying rural barony into an impenetrable fortress.

What to Expect

The narrative balances visceral swordplay with high-stakes territory administration and military engineering. Instead of relying purely on sudden overpowered status gains, Logan succeeds through tactical preparation, intelligence manipulation, and logistical upgrades. Combat emphasizes the physical mechanics of knightly Force circulation against tiered Circle magic, featuring structured army clashes, fortified siege defenses, and political maneuvering between scheming noble houses.
